Elwuz Privacy Policy
Overview
Elwuz is a social micro-quest app for planning short city walks, publishing field notes, saving community discoveries, and chatting after mutual friend status. This Privacy Policy explains the categories of information involved in Elwuz and how that information is used to operate, protect, and improve the app experience.
Elwuz is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old. Do not use Elwuz if you are under 18.
Information You Provide
You may provide account information such as an email address, password, display name, handle, profile details, avatar image, feedback, support requests, and account deletion requests.
You may also create or submit route plans, field note titles, route cues, written descriptions, tags, photos, audio notes, comments, saved items, reports, block choices, blacklist choices, relationship actions, and chat messages.
User Content and Social Activity
Elwuz includes community and social features. User-generated content may include field notes, photos, route descriptions, comments, profile information, relationship status, chat messages, and moderation actions. Other users may see content that you choose to publish or send through social features.
Reports, blocks, blacklist choices, deleted content actions, and related safety signals may be used to review abuse, hide unwanted interactions, protect users, and enforce the Elwuz User Agreement.
Device Permissions
Elwuz requests access to device features only when you choose a related action. Camera access may be requested when you capture a route or field note photo. Photo library access may be requested when you choose an existing image. Microphone access may be requested when you record an audio note. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
In-App Purchases and Consumable Coins
Elwuz offers optional consumable coin packs through Apple App Store in-app purchase. Apple processes the transaction, payment credentials, billing, displayed price, taxes where applicable, failure handling, and refund requests under App Store rules.
Elwuz does not collect full payment card numbers, Apple ID payment credentials, or banking credentials. Purchase-related information may include the purchased product, transaction status, entitlement updates, coin balance changes, and purchase history needed to grant consumable digital coins and maintain account balance.
Coins are in-app digital content. They have no cash value, are not legal tender, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money or value outside Elwuz.
How Information Is Used
- To create and manage your Elwuz account experience.
- To show route plans, field notes, saved items, comments, profiles, relationships, and chats.
- To provide optional coin-based features, unlock eligible digital content, and support paid chat send rules defined by the app.
- To process reports, blocks, blacklist actions, content deletion, account deletion, and feedback.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, spam, impersonation, unsafe conduct, and violations of the User Agreement.
- To maintain app reliability, security, records, and user support.
Sharing and Service Providers
Elwuz does not sell personal information. Information may be shared when needed to operate app features, respond to support requests, process safety reviews, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete App Store in-app purchase functionality through Apple.
Apple may receive and process purchase information according to Apple's terms and privacy practices when you use App Store in-app purchase.
Retention
Elwuz keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to provide app features, maintain account records, support safety and moderation reviews, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Report, block, blacklist, purchase, and moderation records may be kept when needed for security, abuse prevention, or compliance.
Your Choices and Rights
You may edit profile information, manage permissions in iOS Settings, remove content where app controls are available, block users, manage blacklist entries, log out, or request account deletion. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to, restrict, or withdraw consent for certain processing of your information.

Security
Elwuz uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, and alteration. No app or transmission method can be guaranteed to be fully secure, so you should avoid sharing sensitive credentials, financial information, health information, or other highly sensitive personal information in chats or public content.
Children
Elwuz is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit children to use the app. If you believe a minor has provided information through Elwuz, contact us so appropriate steps can be taken.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be identified by the last updated date above. Continued use of Elwuz after an update means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
